Description

The Introductory Networking and Security course provides learners with foundational knowledge of computer networks and cybersecurity. Students will start by understanding basic networking concepts, including network types, protocols, and devices such as routers and switches. The course progressively introduces essential concepts like IP addressing, subnetting, and network topology.

Learners will also become familiar with the basics of cybersecurity, including common threats, vulnerabilities, and security measures. Students will explore introductory cryptographic principles, secure communication channels, and fundamental firewall operations. The course emphasizes practical skills through hands-on lab exercises designed to reinforce theoretical knowledge.
